When I’m working on a website’s SEO, there’s usually a sitemap or two that have been created by default by a website plugin somewhere. But apart from the fact that they exist (sometimes), nobody has done anything further with them. And that’s a shame — because both HTML sitemaps and XML sitemaps can be hugely beneficial to both human website users and your organic search performance.
